Tagging Madness: Part I

Hello, hello, I´m back after a failed internetless week. Yay! Must somehow make up for those missed 7 or 8 blogging days!!

So, I missed that whole tagging craziness on MAF with my MIA moment......but I still wanted to give it a try. Just not all at once (walloftext anyone?).

1) What book are you reading now?
I´m currently reading two books, and about to start a third (as soon as I can find it!). Two of them are Anne McCaffrey (I´ve been on an Anne binge ever since I read about her death TT.TT): Killashandra and Daria´s Children. The other one is Patricia Briggs´ The Hob´s Bargain.

2) What´s your favorite Fairytale?
I love fairy tales; I find them fascinating: especially figuring out all the different variations there can be on the same tale throughout the world. My favorites at the moment are "East of the Sun and West of the Moon", a variation of the "Beauty and the beast" fairytale, and "Snow White and Rose Red", a variation of the Rumplestiltskin tale.
3)What do you cook the most?
Chicken. I love chicken. And soup. I´d eat soup all day; and it´s so easy to make...

4) Did you have an original Gameboy? What was your favorite game to play?
Yes, I had one, which I shared with my brother for many years. We actually got it secondhand from one of our friends when she got one of the Nintendo home systems (which was like...in 1991?). We only had tetris for years and years, because our parents wouldn´t buy us anything else (kinda logical....we were preschoolers).....so I guess I´d go with that. I still love it. :) I´ve had every handheld Nintendo system, except for the Advanced (I got an SP) and the DSi (I have a 3DS).

5) Do you have a pet?
No, I don´t. We used to have birds (finches and parakeets) when I was younger, but we´ve moved around too much to be able to have a pet.

6) What did you buy with your first pocket money?
I rememember that the fisrt thing I saved up for with my pocket money was to buy the "Mulan" movie. However, I never did get around to buying it. I ended up spending it on the Pokemon game and comics.

7) Cofee or tea?
I love tea. Can´t stand coffee.

8)How often do you check your email?
I check my email several times a day. Thoguh I do sometimes go a few days without checking it...and then overcompensate by checking it obsessively again.

9) Zieht ihr gerne um?--"You move gladly"?
YahooBabel, how dare you fail me now? I expect that this must refer to whether I like to exercise or not. I don´t particularly like to exercise, though walking is one activity I do regularly. In summer, I really got into biking, but I´ve had to set that aside temporarily. I recently got the Wii Fit, so I´m trying to exercise more.

10) Which languages would you like to learn?
I´d love to learn Korean, Japanese and Gaelic. And German, and Italian, and so many more....Yes, I wish I could learn all the languages of the world.

11) What do you always have near your computer??
Well, I usually move my computer around the house a lot, so...nothing much. Maybe my cellphone is the one thing, but sometimes not even that.
