So, today is January 6th, the day of the Feast of the Three Wise Kings here in Spain. It´s when we traditionally get our presents (instead of on Christmas day).
I´m pretty satisfied with what I got (though one of the things was a self-present). I´ll post an entry tomorrow, when there´s better lighting. What made me happiest, though, was that my parents loved their presents and my brother loved his as well. This year, I really put in a lot of time (more than usual, even) and thought towards getting the presents, and decided that several smaller presents are more fun than one larger one (more packages to open, yay! Am I the only one who finds ripping wrapping paper cathartic?).
So, instead of posting my presents today, I´m going to link you to a blog entry from another blog, also present-themed. It´s a story (that happened to the other blogger) about a little boy who goes present shopping and how his big brother defends him. Very admirable! Especially when you take into account who he was defending his brother from...... Curious yet?
It´s here.
I really think it´s great when siblings defend each other and stick together. After all, if they don´t, who will?
What do you think about this story?
